New Lease on Life is 100% volunteer run and staffed, which means the animals depend on you.

Get started today!

Available Shifts:

  • Afternoons: 2:00–5:00pm
  • Evenings: 5:30–8:30pm

To get started, visit the shelter during a volunteer shift. Wear comfortable, old clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty.

Typical duties:

  • Sweeping/mopping floors
  • Changing newspaper in dog pens
  • Walking dogs
  • Washing dishes
  • Laundry
  • Changing litterboxes
  • Grooming/Brushing

Children of any age are welcome if accompanied by a parent/guardian who will volunteer with them.
